The medium-sized cement ball mill’s diameter is above 2.4-3.5 meters. It is proper to select the medium and low-alloyed medium carbon steel grinding head. You’d better adopt the high or low chromium cast iron lining plate. The partition plate can be of medium-alloyed medium carbon steel.
The small cement ball mill’s diameter is less than 2.4 meters. Its grinding head is made from medium-alloyed medium carbon steel or low chromium cast iron. The lining plate is of high or low chromium cast iron, whose service life can be 3-5 years. Its partition plate is of medium-alloyed medium carbon steel. All the lining plates of the ball mills used in cement plants should not be of non-metal mainly because most of the ball mills are used to dry grind materials with high temperature.
